Boston Medical Library is built.

Architect: Shaw & Hunnewell. It is located at 18 Fenway. The institution merges with the Countway Library of Harvard Medical School and moves to Shattuck Street in 1965* and Fenway building becomes the home of the Boston Conservatory of Music in 1936. A renovation and addition to the theater building, designed by Handel Architects is completed in October 2010.
